Objectives

Upon completion of this enduring material, you should be able to accomplish the following:

  • Increase the participant's knowledge to better perform and/or interpret MSK ultrasound examinations
  • Demonstrate scanning protocols for performing elbow ultrasound examinations
  • Identify normal elbow anatomy during musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging
  • Assess and incorporate protocols, techniques & interpretation criteria to improve elbow diagnostic/treatment accuracy 

Target Audience

Physicians, sonographers, PAs and NPs, and other medical professionals who are involved with performing and/or interpreting musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations. Physician participants may include (but are not limited to) radiology, sports medicine, orthopedics, rheumatology, chiropractors, physical therapists, family practice, emergency medicine, and PM & R.
