The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: The Basics with Interventional Cadaver Lab Training Course delivers a comprehensive foundation in diagnostic and interventional MSK ultrasound. This hands-on CME course is ideal for physicians, sonographers, PAs, and NPs seeking to develop core musculoskeletal ultrasound skills with an emphasis on ultrasound-guided injections and aspirations.
Course highlights include:
• Expert-led lectures covering musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, and interventional techniques
• Live scanning demonstrations of all major upper and lower extremity joints
• Extensive hands-on scanning with a 3:1 participant-to-faculty ratio using standardized patient models and inanimate phantoms
• 4-hour cadaver lab using un-embalmed human cadaver specimens for real-world interventional practice
Participants will build essential competencies in ultrasound probe handling, anatomy recognition, pathology identification, and safe, effective needle-guidance techniques. The use of human cadaveric specimens enhances realism and prepares attendees to confidently apply their skills in clinical settings.
Upgrade to the most comprehensive MSK ultrasound experience by combining this course with the Regenerative Medicine & Advanced Techniques MSK Ultrasound Course. The advanced course expands your skill set to include:
