Dr. Karen Avgush graduated from Saint James School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Wellspan York Hospital. She is an assistant professor at multiple medical schools inclduing Department of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, and SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Currently she is the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at United Health Services in Binghamton, NY.
Her professional interests include Point of Care Ultrasound, Curriculum creation, and reading/discussing medical case reports and research studies. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.
