Dr. Atnip is recently retired from his role as Senior Vascular Surgeon and Medical Director of the Vascular Lab at Penn State Heart and Vascular Institute, in Hershey, PA. and Director of the Penn State Hershey Center for Wound Care.
He is a Professor Emeritus of the Department Surgery and Radiology at Penn State University, School of Medicine. He holds both the RVT and RPVI credentials, and is Board Certified in Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Atnip lectures throughout the United States and he has authored numerous articles, book chapters, and other publications.
