ARDMS Suspends Online Proctoring: What It Means for Your Ultrasound Registry Exam

In a recent update, the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS) announced the suspension of online proctoring for all registry exams. This change means candidates must once again schedule their exams at an authorized Pearson VUE testing center. While online testing offered convenience and flexibility during the pandemic, the return to in-person exams aims to ensure standardization, security, and integrity across all testing environments.

For many ultrasound professionals preparing for registry exams, this shift could feel like a setback. However, now more than ever, having the right preparation tools and support is key to success.
