Christie Jordan graduated from the Cardiopulmonary Technology Program at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. She has worked in the field for over 32 years in the cardiac catheterization lab, the echocardiography lab and as a cardiovascular educator. She is a Registered Advanced Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer with the ARDMS and a Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Vascular Sonographer and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International and a Fellow with the American Society of Echocardiography.
Currently Ms. Jordan is the Program Director and Adult Echo Professor at Florida State College in Jacksonville, FL. She is very active in the field on both the local and national level. She has served on the national credentialing board with CCI and as chair for the CCI Certified Cardiovascular Technician Exam, and currently serves as a site reader and site visitor for the Joint Review Committee on Education for Cardiovascular Technology.
