Private Hands-On POCUS for Internal Medicine Ultrasound Training Course is intended for any medical professional involved with performing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) examinations and provides participants a strong foundation to perform the core ultrasound applications as outlined in the AAFP and ACEP ultrasound practice guidelines.
This private hands-on course is taught by leading emergency medicine and internal medicine/primary care ultrasound experts that incorporates comprehensive online lectures and interactive case presentations with fifteen (15) months unlimited access, featuring two (2) days (14 hours) [dates of your choice] of 1:1 faculty to participant hands-on scanning with live models and phantoms during the two days scan-only workshops at our facility in St. Petersburg, FL. This private hands on course is specifically designed for physicians, sonographers and other medical professionals who need internal medicine ultrasound training. Hands-on skills training includes abdominal aorta, focused abdomen, cardiac, trauma, soft-tissue, MSK, DVT and ultrasound-guided procedural and central vascular access applications.
For the best ultrasound education experience, completion of the online course prior to the hands-on scanning workshop is recommended.

There are a number of smaller independent downtown or beachfront hotel properties in the immediate area. While we do not have any discounted rates at any beachfront hotels, We do recommend hotels on St. Pete Beach (15 min drive). Recommended properties include: Tradewinds resorts, Sirata Beach Resort, and the Don Cesar (as higher end properties). Treasure Island and Madeira Beach also offer some great properties however, are a bit further drive. (20-30min from Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute)
