Overview

Objectives

  • Increase the participants’ knowledge to better perform and/or interpret MSK Ultrasound Examinations.
  • Recognize Ultrasound Characteristics associated with various types of Rheumatology conditions.
  • Identify Ultrasound characteristics and apply ultrasound diagnostic criteria to evaluate commonly seen Rheumatology conditions.
  • Increase confidence to incorporate protocols, techniques, & interpretation criteria to improve MSK diagnostic / treatment accuracy.

Audience

Physicians, NP’s, PA’s, Sonographers, and other medical professionals who will be involved with performing and/or interpreting musculoskeletal examinations for Rheumatology applications. Physicians may include (but is not limited to) Rheumatology, Radiology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, P M& R, and Primary Care.
