Dr. Ethan (pronounced ay-tahn) Rand is Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell, located in New York City.
He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, where he was honored as Intern of the Year. He subsequently completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian, University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell, where he was selected as Chief Resident and honored with the Physician of the Year House Staff Award.
He remained at NewYork-Presbyterian beyond residency to complete additional ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine.
He is deeply involved in mentoring and training medical students, residents, and fellows at Weill Cornell and regularly teaches diagnostic and interventional ultrasound techniques at local and national conferences.
