ULTRA P.A.S.S. Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) Interactive Registry Review Online Mock Exam

ULTRA P.A.S.S (Preparation Agenda for Study Success) Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics Mock Exam is available in an interactive Online Exam (Mac & PC). The Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics Mock Exam is an excellent self-assessment tool for the medical professional preparing to take the Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics registry examination, or for the educator who has a desire to enhance their current registry review curriculum.
The questions posed in the ULTRA P.A.S.S. Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics Mock Exam are based on current registry examination content outlines and are presented in a similar format. The Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics Mock Exam includes both an exam mode and a study mode. In the Exam Mode, you will be able to demonstrate your subject knowledge in a timed setting mirroring the actual registry setting. Questions and answers are randomized each time the quiz is taken. The Study mode is an untimed exam format that provides feedback regarding the correct answer along with an explanation and reference to enhance the learning experience. This comprehensive ultrasound registry review mock exam contains 396 questions relating to Sonography Principles & Instrumentation/Physics.

Objectives After viewing this presentation the participant will be able to:
  1. Assess the level of knowledge in ultrasound physics.
  2. Identify areas that require further study
  3. Increase one's ability to take a multiple-choice test in a timed format.

Once again Gulfcoast Ultrasound is leading the way with another innovative educational study-aid for the ultrasound professional. The new ULTRA P.A.S.S. CD Exam Review is an excellent self-assessment tool for the medical professional preparing to take an ultrasound registry examination or for the educator who has a desire to enhance the current registry review curriculum.

New to this edition of mock registry exams is a table of contents with two modes: Study Mode and Exam Mode. The Study Mode portion of the ULTRA P.A.S.S. Online Exam Review consists of a bank of 401 questions. The Study Mode allows the participant to:

  1. Take an exam consisting of 150 randomized questions in an untimed environment or
  2. Take an exam consisting of any of the sub-sections (i.e. Patient Care, Physical Principles, etc.) within the Study Mode. For a thorough, in-depth review, the participant may choose to take an exam of each of the sub-sections in the Study Mode.

The Study Mode also provides immediate feedback, explanations and references as to why a selected answer was correct or incorrect. Study mode questions are in a variety of formats to enhance the learning experience and to avoid the memorization of questions/answers.

The Exam Mode portion contains a bank of 408 questions written in a similar format to the actual registry examination (based on current ARDMS outlines). The Exam Mode offers an automatic timer, allowing the participant to gauge their progress during exam. 150 randomized questions will be selected from the question bank each time the exam is taken. The exam may be taken an unlimited number of times. When the exam is complete, a total passing score will be provided.

Each Online Practice Exam comes with easy-to-follow, on-screen instructions, images, and diagrams. An optional CME quiz is also available ($35.00 processing fee) for 15.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ (also meets requirements for ARDMS CME). Other modalities will follow shortly.

Good for ARDMS and CCI cardiac exams.
