Ultrasound Training — Highlights
- Gulfcoast Ultrasound has a proven track record of providing the highest quality short-term courses on ultrasound training since 1985.
- All programs are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere by experienced, registered sonographers and physicians.
- Class size is limited to ensure maximum individual attention.
- Generous hands-on workshops. Small and large group scanning sessions are provided daily. The small group student to instructor ratio in any program does not exceed 3:1 and most often is smaller.
- Learning stations: Video and CD-ROM based tutoring programs available for viewing during non-scheduled time.
- Competitive tuitions. We understand the dilemma of rising cost and time constraints.
- Tuition includes: Registration, comprehensive course notebook, daily continental breakfast and afternoon breaks. Lunch is included with selected programs.
- We offer a large video tape and book library for continued study after lecture and hands-on sessions are completed. If desired, CME credit provided with a small fee.
- Mini-tests are provided for self evaluation purposes to help identify areas which need further study.
- Multiple major equipment manufacturers participate in providing ultrasound systems for use during hands-on sessions.
- Programs approved for CME credits by either Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute, Inc., the AMA, SDMS, ARRT (Category B only until January 2008), and Florida HRS.
- Ultrasound training programs are conducted in a safe, family oriented resort area which is perfect for combining a vacation while continuing your professional education.
