Ultrasound Training -- Highlights

1. Gulfcoast Ultrasound has a proven track record of providing the highest quality short-term courses on ultrasound training since 1985.
   
   
2. All programs are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere by experienced, registered sonographers and physicians.
   
   
3. Class size is limited to ensure maximum individual attention.
   
   
4. Generous hands-on workshops. Small and large group scanning sessions are provided daily. The small group student to instructor ratio in any program does not exceed 3:1 and most often is smaller.
   
   
5. Learning stations: DVD and CD-ROM based tutoring programs available for viewing during non-scheduled time.
   
   
6. Competitive tuitions. We understand the dilemma of rising cost and time constraints.
   
   
7. Tuition includes: Registration, comprehensive course notebook, daily continental breakfast and afternoon breaks. Lunch is included with selected programs.
   
   
8. We offer a large video and book library for continued study after lecture and hands-on sessions are completed. If desired, CME credit provided with a small fee.
   
   
9. Mini-tests are provided for self evaluation purposes to help identify areas which need further study.
   
   
10. Multiple major equipment manufacturers participate in providing ultrasound systems for use during hands-on sessions.
    
    
11. The Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Selected courses are accredited by ACEP and ASRT.
