Target Audience
Physicians and sonographers with a minimum of six-months experience performing and/or interpreting adult echocardiography exams. Physician participants may include (but are not limited to) those involved with Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Radiology, and Electrophysiology.
Objectives
After viewing this presentation, the participant should be able to:
- State the types of ventricular pacing modes in patients with heart failure
- Describe the benefits and hemodynamics of CRT
- Determine useful echocardiographic methods for optimizing CRT device settings that will maximize cardiac function
