Target Audience
The target audience for this DVD are physicians and sonographers who have a desire to learn 2D and 3D ultrasound imaging techniques for valvular heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.
Objectives
After viewing this video presentation, the participant should be able to:
- Demonstrate basic 2D echocardiographic interrogation of normal and abnormal cardiac valve structures and physiology.
- List in-depth causes of primary valve diseases; what secondary hemodynamic and structural findings are associated with them.
- Complete basic associated Doppler techniques that assist in accurate diagnosis and interpretation of abnormal findings.
