Target Audience

The target audience for this DVD are physicians who have a desire to learn ultrasound imaging techniques for anesthesia applications.  
 
Objectives

After viewing this video presentation, the participant should be able to:
 
 1. Discuss the key aspects of ultrasound physics that have clinical applications.
 2. Explain and demonstrate the techniques for performing the following procedures:
    • Supraclavicular Nerve Block
    • Axillary Nerve Catheter Placement
    • Sciatic Nerve Block
    • Femoral Nerve Catheter Placement
    • Musculocutaneous Nerve Block
    • Median and Ulnar Nerve Blocks
    • Radial Nerve Block
    • Difficult Peripheral IV Access
